I will begin this review of the Lovense Gush, stating that I am an owner of numerous Lovense sex toys, all of which have helped cement my positive opinion of Lovense and their products, which leads me into this review with very high expectations of the Lovense Gush.

A quick comment on Lovense.com, ordering and the level of service received as part of process of buying Lovense Gush, is that I experienced no issues with the website, proceeding through the checkout and the subsequent updates & notifications were very informative and gave me a good level of confidence in Lovense.

My delivery was provided Royal Mail Tracked 48 service which I could track, despite missing the first attempt, redelivery wasn't too much hassle and meant I received my order without any delays. Delivered in very discreet plain brown box packaging, with no indication of the contents or references to Lovense or the nature of the products.

Unboxing the securely packaged delivery, revealed the Lovense Gush box, at which point my great expectations began to excite, on the threshold of arouse at the prospect of a Lovense toy for my todger. The presentation of Gush when lifting the lid is very clean & contemporary, provoking my urge to dive in and unpack the contents.

With everything out and in front of me, knowing I couldn't get straight to using the Gush without its initial charging, I took a few minute to familiarise myself with Gush, my first impressions of what does appear to be a good quality product, are maybe this products isn't quite going to perform?

Gush comes with a band to give the user a tighter fitting, a USB charing cable with magnetic connection, a black drawstring storage pouch, a quick start guide and user manual, that's everything you'll need to play with this massager/masturbator.

I charged the Gush for approx. 20 minutes via the USB port on my MacBook Pro, until the charging LED light went out, disconnected with a convenient pull on the MagSafe style charger contacts, found out my favourite lube (System Jo Water-Based Warming Lubricant), got naked and on my bed, ready to test Gush in real life, ready to play as I would regardless of doing a review or not.

With Gush in hand and a flaccid penis, I'm working out when is best to start using this toy. I looks a little too big to use from flaccid for me as I am a grower and pretty small before getting any form of erection. But, didn't wait, just pulled back my foreskin, lubed up it and the inside of the toy before sliding my soft cock inside.

I thought it best to review the glans massage functionality of this dual purpose vibrator first, placing the Gush around my glans, making use of the included band to tighten the grip and make sure the Gush is secure, which I expect most average size men will do the same, but it offers a good grip around even slim girth.

So, with Gush ready, I began massaging, exploring the preset vibration programs, using the button on the Gush itself to navigate On/Off and preset vibrations. The low, medium and high are as you would expect, three intensity levels of speed/intensity. The medium and high do feel faster, but the high doesn't quite equate to high intensity to a scale where the stimulation what you would consider powerful.

After a slow start, once I became substantially erect and aroused, finding my favourite vibration patterns (earthquake and firework), my penis stimulated simultaneously with the vibrations, this toy is a tease and will provide an edging kind of stimulation. I can definitely see the advantages of glans massage with a partner having control of the Gush.

It did take some time, but there are benefits to a more teasing, longer-winded buildup to sexual arousal, I didn't climax with massage as was in a state of arousal that meant I couldn't resist giving the vibrating stroker masturbation aspect of this toy a try.

Applying a bit more lube, I removed the Gush band and took control of the grip, hands-on just like traditional solo masturbation, stroked my length with momentary attention focussing on my glans, the texture and hold, despite applying quite a tight grip, doesn't feel that satisfying, coupled with that real lack of vibration oomph, think I would actually prefer a handjob, be it having a jerk myself or from the privilege of someone else's hand.

To be honest, a subdued experience from playing Gush solo, overall as a stroker masturbation I feel I can do a far superior job using my hand, it needs a better texture and more power. I can however see a better experience when controlled by a partner, teasing and edging using as a glans massager then progressing to vibrating stroker when about to ejaculate.

I didn't take the time explore the Lovense Remote app features with this toy, but know that the features is the same as with other Lovense toys and does offer extra functionality and control. I will give the Gush a go with my partner and explore the Bluetooth remote control, confident I will enjoy the glans massage tease with her and edging play.

For many, if you are expecting to be able to wear this toy on your cock, under your clothing and go out and about in public, it's unlikely to be an option, small-medium endowed men are unlikely to have the flaccid dimensions to be able to have a secure fitting for public play.

I do plan on further exploring the Lovense Glans again, I may do a further review that focusses on remote-controlled play with a partner, as that is where I feel the real enjoyment of this toy exist. Plus think it would be a benefit to compare the Gush to alternatives in order to discover if there are better 2-in-1 glans massage & vibrating stroker masturbators available.
